Know Before You Go

Additional Policies & Procedures

Welcome to the 2021 golf season!  We look forward to hosting you as our valued guest this summer and enjoying the course alongside you.  Once again, there are some necessary adjustments to how our operations will be run this season.  Being our second season working through COVID-19 protocols we are confident we are able to provide a safe environment for our guests and staff, following current provincial guidelines.

For the safety of resort guests and our staff please do not visit if any of the following apply:

  • If you are sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, sore throat, cough, difficulty breathing).
  • Live in a household with someone with COVID-19, symptoms of COVID-19.
  • If you are self isolating due to possible exposure of COVID-19.
  • If you have traveled outside of Canada in the past 2 weeks or been in contact with anyone who has traveled outside of Canada in the past 2 weeks.

General Safety Measures:

  • Please follow all public health and safety regulations as implemented by the Province.
  • Do not come to the golf course if you are sick or feeling unwell.
  • Masks are mandatory from the parking lot to the first tee and in all indoor spaces.  Mask can be taken off while at the driving range at designated area.  Once you leave that space you must wear a mask until you are on the first tee.
  • Physical distancing and other requirements will be monitored by staff on golf course property.
  • Please adhere to the 2m distancing rule when speaking with staff.
  • Hand sanitizer dispensers will be made available at the entrance to any building or outlet.
  • Food services are available following all AHS guidelines at our Clubhouse Restaurant and Caddy Shack.

On Course:

  • Please follow all on course signage.
  • No accessories are available on the course such as ball washers, rakes, benches, garbage’s, etc.  Please make sure you do not litter on the golf course.
  • Bunker rakes will not be available.  Please smooth sand with your feet or club. Preferred lies are permitted in a bunker.
  • Flag poles should remain in the hole. Do not touch the flag pole.
  • Play with your own golf ball and tee. Do not use found balls or tees.
  • Do not touch or play with other golfers clubs.
  • Replace all solid divots. No sand/seed mixture is provided.
  • Please continue to repair your ball marks on the green.
  • Players must always abide by the mandatory physical distancing requirements of at least 2 meters/6 feet. Please do not shake hands at the end of your round
  • After your round, we ask that you please empty your cart of garbage and recycling in the bins provided by the Pro Shop.
  • In the event of lightning, please seek shelter in your vehicle. The Club House will have limited occupancy restrictions
  • In the event of an emergency, please call 9-1-1 first. Please notify the Pro Shop of the emergency so they can assist the medical professionals in accessing your location.

Club House:

  • Pro Shop will be limited to 4 customers at any given time.
  • No club storage available at this time.
  • Member lockers will permitted but use is at your own risk as they will not be sanitized daily.
  • Payments – We will be accepting credit card and debit transactions on site.  Cash payments are accepted but not preferred.
  • Pro Shop is open and offering shoes, clothing and a variety of golf accessories for purchase.
  • No tees, ball markers, divot repair tools or scorecards will be provided. Please download and print our scorecard prior to arrival.
  • Tee times must be booked online or by calling the Pro Shop 403-949-3333 Ext 1.
  • Members will be responsible for their own clubs before and after their round – no club cleaning or storage is available.
  • All golfers must take their own bags in and out of their vehicle and place them on pull carts or power carts.
  • Due to higher demand on carts, we cannot guarantee that carts will always be available.
  • Pull carts are allowed. Member-owned pull carts are permitted, but must be taken home at the end of the round.

Club House

  • The Club House Restaurant and Patio is open following all AHS guidelines.
  • Maximum 6 per table and tables must remain distanced by 6 feet.
  • Movement between tables is not permitted.

  •  Masks are required upon entering the Clubhouse and can only be removed once you are seated at your table.

  • All above protocols apply to outdoor dining on the Patio as well.

  • Please continue to observe physical distancing while moving through the Clubhouse.

On Course

  • Caddy Shack and Patio will be open daily until 7pm (subject to weather and golfer volume).

  • Only 4 people are permitted in the Caddy Shack at a time.  Please follow the directional signs for the entrance and exit doors.

  • Maximum 6 per table and tables must remain distanced by 6 feet.

  •  Movement between tables is not permitted.

  •  If seated at a table you must still wear a mask unless you have food or a beverage in front of you.

  • There is no potable water on the course – members should bring their own water bottle or purchase in the Caddy Shack.

  •         No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted as this would be a violation of our liquor license.
  • Golf club rentals and demos will be available and sanitized after each use.
  • Club House and Caddy Shack washrooms will be available.
  • #4/#5 and #13/#17 washrooms will be open.
  • For all washrooms, cleaning with be increased throughout the day.  Please sanitize hands prior to entering and exiting the washroom.
  • The short game chipping range, long range and #1 practice putting green will be open but subject to closure based on capacity limitations.
Additional Recommendations

We recommend you take steps to protect yourself, we promote contactless payment as much as possible, regular hand sanitization and/or washing, staying within your social bubble and avoiding gatherings on our properties.

Remain respectful - we will not tolerate any abuse towards our staff members or other guests in regards to any of these guidelines.  Anyone not able to follow our recommendations will be asked to leave.

We are as enthusiastic about summer as ever and hope you are too!  Let’s make it a great season working together and taking time to enjoy our spectacular mountain surroundings.

Please realize we are living in an ever changing situation and while many of these policies will stay in place for the entire golf season, there may be additional ones brought forth or adjustments made as we adapt to our current environment and do everything possible to have a full and enjoyable season for us all.
