Membership Purchasing Information

Owned and operated by Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc., Wintergreen offers a casual country golf getaway just 30 minutes from the west edge of Calgary. Wintergreen is a semi-private club with approximately 76 active non-equity transferable memberships. While no new memberships are currently available for sale by the owner, memberships do change hands from time to time. Membership transfers are carried out directly between sellers and prospective buyers, with pricing subject to their negotiations. Membership sale prices have ranged from $500 to $5,000 over the past five years. It all depends on how motivated the sellers are based on their circumstances as well as supply and demand. Wintergreen maintains a contact list of current members who are looking to sell. While the proceeds of membership transfers themselves go directly to the seller, Wintergreen requires payment of a $500 + gst Transfer Fee in order for the sale to be completed.

One of the best guest green fee discounts available to members only, is the Pre-Paid Guest Green Fee 10 Pack option. The cost for the booklet in 2023 was just $699 + gst and the vouchers can be used any day or time of the week. Members have the option to purchase up to a maximum of 3 booklets each season. This is a huge savings for friends and family as our current weekend green fee pricing can be up to $119 + gst.

Membership Corporate Pass Conversion

For 2024, any Wintergreen membership owner may choose to convert their membership for the season to the 50 or 44 Corporate Pass Program in lieu of a regular full membership. The membership conversion cost is the applicable Annual Principal Dues + the Corporate Pass Fee + Society Fee and GST. Please note that this option is not included in the Wintergreen Master Agreement and is on a trial basis. Wintergreen is making every effort to be flexible and accommodating as we recognize that a member’s circumstances can change year to year. If you choose this option for one year you, you can always switch back to the standard full membership the following season.

Corporate Pass Restrictions

Cannot use more than 8 passes per day.
Passes expire at the end of the applicable season.
Physical pass must be provided to the Pro Shop when checking in or you pay the regular green fee.
Lost or stolen passes are not replaceable.

Wintergreen Golf Society

Wintergreen is a non-equity membership that has a volunteer Society Board that assists with the membership events and leagues. Throughout each golf season the Wintergreen Society organizes a number of tournaments and events, including the Club Championship that all members have access to. The Wintergreen Ladies League runs every Wednesday afternoon starting at 1pm and the Men's League runs every Thursday afternoon starting at 1pm.
